Marsha Dunbar is a Senior Vice President of HM Capital. Her responsibilities include sourcing and underwriting loans for the company’s correspondent lenders and other institutional debt providers utilizing long established relationships in the Northwest Arkansas area and around the country.
Marsha has extensive experience in loan production having been affiliated with HM Capital since 2008 and before that with regional banks doing commercial originations for portfolio retention and placement with outside institutional lenders. With her background in securitization for over twenty years, she is uniquely qualified to assist borrowers with structuring loan requests involving the CMBS market. She had over a decade of experience trading mortgage backed securities on Wall Street before relocating to Arkansas. Another specialized skill is over fifteen years of experience in government guaranteed lending including both SBA and US Department of Agriculture Rural Development programs. This process involves sourcing lenders for these loans and then acting as liaison between borrower, lender and the appropriate governmental agency to properly structure, underwrite, package loans as well as assist in the closing process.
Marsha graduated from the Univeristy of California, Berkeley with Honors and holds FINRA Series 7, 63, 24, 27, 53, and 65 licenses.
